Historical overview of customs crimes and ways of addressing them

Abstract

Iran’s government suspended the organization, was established to monitor economic activity and trade; but the arrival of great volume of contraband into the country and the inadequacy of the justice system’s ability to effectively address; under the act of May 1995, adopted by the government suspended; this is contrary to the principle of the separation of powers mandated to investigate crimes of smuggling and sentenced in this field has been.
