Abstract

Doped and undoped TiO2 photocatalysts were prepared by hydrothermal method and characterized by EDX, SEM and XRD analysis, while the photocatalytic activities were tested using Congo red and bromothymol blue as the model compound. The effect of time, catalyst amount, pH and dye concentration were studied. Transition metals (Ni, Co and Zn) doped titania exhibits the highest photocatalytic activity under optimum reaction conditions.
